To support Community Assistance, Recovery, and Empowerment (CARE) Act implementation, HMA is offering training and open forum webinar discussions on prioritized topics. To support Community Assistance, Recovery, and Empowerment (CARE) Act implementation, HMA is offering training and open forum webinar discussions on prioritized topics. Most training sessions are held live in virtual settings, with an opportunity for questions and comments. A recorded version of each training is posted within 10 business days after each live session is held.

Who are the trainings for?

Trainings are intended for:

• County Behavioral Health (BH) Agencies including their providers and consultants
• Volunteer Supporters in consultation with disability rights groups, county BH and aging agencies, individuals with lived experience, families, racial justice experts, and other appropriate stakeholders
• Housing and Community Supports
• Counsel in consultation with relevant state departments and the California Interagency Council on Homelessness (Cal ICH)
